To address the issue, the authorities are considering implementing zone-wise operation of e-rickshaws, removing them completely from metro routes. This decision stems from a recent district road safety committee meeting where the Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety recommended restricting e-rickshaws on main city routes due to their contribution to traffic jams and potential for accidents. The committee has suggested that police, transport, traffic, and district administration work together to define feeder routes for e-rickshaws.

ghante 50-60 e-ricksha khade rehte hai. Aise hi conditions aur bhi chauraho pe hai, jaise Charbagh, Burlington, IT Chauraha, Nishatganj, Badshahnagar, Polytechnic Chauraha. Metro routes pe padne wale chauraho pe e-ricksha band karne se jam se rahat milne ki umeed hai. Traffic department e-ricksha ke liye link roads tay kar raha hai. Police ke officers ke mutabik, city ke 11 rasto pe e-ricksha ban hai, jinme zyadatar metro routes bhi shamil hai. Lekin e-ricksha chalna band nahin hua hai. Ban kiye gaye routes pe chalne par challan kata ja raha hai, par situation sudhar nahi rahi. Is wajah se e-ricksha ko metro routes se pura hata kar zone-wise operation karne ki plan ban rahi hai. Ye sab Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety ki report se chal raha hai, jisme city ke main routes pe e-ricksha ki wajah se jam aur accident hone ka khabar diya gaya tha. Is report ke baad, police, transport, traffic, aur district administration milkar feeder routes tay karne ka kam karenge.
