New MEMU train service to tackle overcrowding issues on Kottayam-Ernakulam route

To address overcrowding on the Kottayam-Ernakulam route, a new MEMU train service will operate between the Palaruvi and Venad Express trains. The Venad Express has replaced its pantry car with an additional coach to accommodate more passengers. However, adding another coach may cause platform space issues, which the Railway Divisional Manager is working to resolve. The All Kerala Railway Users Association supports this decision, acknowledging the growing need for this service due to increased commuter traffic.

Par, ek aur coach lagane se platform mein jagah ki problem aa sakti hai, aur is problem ko solve karne ke liye Railway Divisional Manager kaam kar rahe hain. All Kerala Railway Users Association ne is decision ka swagat kiya hai, aur unhone kaha ki is service ki bahut zyada jaroorat thi, kyunki passengers ki count bahut zyada badh gayi hai.
