This ambitious 45,000 crore project will be gradually implemented across 10,000 locomotives throughout India. While South Central Railway was the first to implement Kavach, West Central Railway is the first in North India to adopt this technology. The successful trial of the system has been completed on the Kota division of the West Central Railway.
