The construction of the washing pit will facilitate the operation of long-distance trains from Purnea Court, increasing passenger convenience and revenue for the Railways. Currently, Purnea has two express trains, the 13205/06 Janhit and 14617/18 Jansadharan Express. Due to lack of maintenance facilities, the Janhit Express operates five days a week instead of daily. Despite this, the Purnea Court station has seen a 582% increase in revenue during the first quarter of 2024-25, generating 6,11,88,874 rupees compared to 89,69,309 rupees in the previous year. This surge in revenue is attributed to the addition of the two express trains. The increase in revenue has also been observed at other major stations in the Purnea-Saharsa region, such as Banmankhi, Murliganj, and Daurm Madhepura. Being the second-largest city in the region after Patna and the last station of the ECR/SPJ division, Purnea, an Aspirational District, faces significant development challenges. The city has long been in need of improved railway connectivity.

Washing pit banne se Purnea Court se lambi duri ki train chalna shuru ho jaayega, jisse yatriyon ko suvidha hogi aur Railways ki aamdani mein badhotari hogi. Abhi Purnea ko 13205/06 Janhit aur 14617/18 Jansadharan Express, yeh do express trains mil gayi hai. Maintenance facilities ki kami ki wajah se Janhit Express har din ki jagah hafte mein 5 din chalti hai. Iske baad bhi Purnea Court station ne 2024-25 ki pehli quarter mein 6,11,88,874 rupees kamaye hai jo ki 89,69,309 rupees se 582% badhotari hai. Yeh badhotari dono express trains ke chalne se aayi hai. Purnea aur Saharsa ke beech Banmankhi, Murliganj, Daurm Madhepura jaise baki sabhi major stations ka revenue bhi badha hai. Purnea Patna ke baad area ke hisab se dusra sabse bada city hai aur ECR/SPJ division ka aakhri station bhi hai. Purnea Aspirational District mein shumaar hai aur kaafi development challenges hai. Purnea mein better railway connectivity ki jaroorat bahut time se hai.
