Western Railway opens temporary foot over bridge at Mumbai Central station in just 6 months!

A temporary lightweight steel foot over bridge has been constructed at Mumbai Central station to improve east-west connectivity. the station's eastern and western sides, allowing passengers to easily cross the railway lines. The bridge starts from the station's outer ticket area and ends at JBB Road in Tardeo. The construction process was efficient, with steel girders and columns fabricated simultaneously while foundations were dug. The steel columns were erected in two days, cross girders in four days, and the entire bridge assembled in a single day using a crane. The deck is made of chequered plate, eliminating the need for concrete reinforcement and curing, further accelerating the construction. The side railings, deck plate, and prefabricated staircase were installed concurrently, and lighting was completed in a single day.

se unsafe declare kiya gaya tha. Naya bridge mein escalators bhi hain aur ye station ke eastern aur western side ko connect karta hai, jisse passengers aasani se railway lines ko cross kar sakte hain. Bridge station ke outer ticket area se shuru hota hai aur Tardeo mein JBB Road pe khatam hota hai. Construction process bahut efficient tha, steel girders aur columns ko foundations khudne ke saath saath banaya ja raha tha. Steel columns two days mein laga diye gaye, cross girders four days mein, aur pura bridge ek hi din mein crane ki madad se assemble kar diya gaya. Deck chequered plate se bana hai, jisse concrete reinforcement aur curing ki zaroorat nahi padti, jisse construction aur bhi jaldi ho paya. Side railings, deck plate, aur prefabricated staircase saath saath lagaye gaye, aur lighting ek hi din mein complete ho gaya.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
