Raja ki Mandi Railway Station (RKM) in agra has few critical constructional problems associated with it...
1. For both the routes i.e. RKM-MTJ-NZM and RKM-TDL-CNB, there's no bypass line for non-stopping trains, that makes it accident prone as well as a poses a problem for those trains having no stop at RKM (they have to wait in case of any train is halting at RKM)
2. Both the routes having sharp arc within the platform (700 m radius for MTJ-NZM route and 475 m radius for TDL-CNB route) which even makes its more...
more... accident prone regarding visibility of train and few other factors.
3. As we talk of platform no. 1, it has a huge Hanuman temple located on it. With boundary on the one side and track on other, not more than 1 m of distance remains for passengers to pass through the platform while they try to catch the train, this even makes it more prone to unwanted incidents..
These conditions aren't very recent but they exist since its very construction.
I wonder why railways never think about its suitable upgradation...
