The Agra Metro is currently operational from Manakamleshwar Temple to the East Gate of the Taj Mahal. Underground metro construction is underway at RBS College. metro work on the highway, citing lack of NOC from UPMRC. The NHAI team stopped the work near Khandari Chowk and asked for two drilling machines to be stopped. Work will only resume after the NOC is obtained. The three stations at ISBT, Guru ka Tal, and Sikandra Tiraha are being built at a cost of ₹315 crore. Soil sampling is complete, and UPMRC had sought NOC from NHAI four months ago. This file, however, reached the Agra division instead of Mathura, delaying the NOC issuance. UPMRC had started work without NOC, prompting NHAI officials to halt the work, informing New Delhi. The NHAI team stopped the work on Saturday. This halted work includes the metro construction at Khandari. The three elevated stations on NH-19 are being constructed by UPMRC without NOC. After the work was halted, it was resumed. Now, strict action is being taken against the illegal construction. The work on the highway has been stopped due to the lack of NOC, expected to be issued within 3-4 days. UPMRC holds an NOC from the National Monuments Authority. The NHAI team in the Mathura division has started constructing a footpath near Sikandra Sabzi Mandi. Some vendors had broken the footpath for illegal access. The NHAI will meet the Municipal Commissioner on Monday to demand an anti-encroachment drive.

Agra Metro toh Manakamleshwar Temple se Taj Mahal ke East Gate tak chal raha hai. RBS College pe underground metro ka kaam chal raha hai. Highway pe 1.5 saal mein 3km ka track banna hai, jahan teen stations banenge. Par NHAI ne highway pe metro ka kaam rukwa diya hai, kyuki...

UPMRC ne NOC nahi diya. NHAI ki team ne Khandari Chowk ke paas kaam rukwa diya aur do drilling machines rokne ko bola. NOC milne ke baad hi kaam start hoga. ISBT, Guru ka Tal, aur Sikandra Tiraha pe teen stations ban rahe hain, jo ki 315 crore ka project hai. Soil sampling complete ho chuka hai, aur UPMRC ne 4 months pehle NHAI se NOC mangi thi. Lekin file Agra division mein chali gayi, Mathura ki jagah. Iske karan NOC nahi mili. UPMRC ne bina NOC ke kaam start kar diya, toh NHAI ke officials ne kaam rukwa diya, aur New Delhi ko bhi bataya. NHAI team ne Saturday ko kaam band kar diya. Khandari pe metro ka kaam bhi ruk gaya hai. NH-19 pe teen elevated stations ban rahe hain, jinko UPMRC bina NOC ke bana raha tha. Kaam rukne ke baad, yeh phir se start ho gaya tha. Ab illegal construction ke khilaf strict action liya ja raha hai. Highway pe metro ka kaam band ho gaya hai, kyuki NOC nahi hai.
