Passengers pointed out that a timely arrival would have allowed them to reach Prayagraj between 1 pm and 1:30 pm, perform Ganga bath, and return on the 4:40 pm Lucknow-bound train. However, the delayed train disrupted their plans. Other trains operating through Gauriganj also faced delays, including the Varanasi-Dehradun Janta Express (30 minutes), Howrah-Amritsar Punjab Mail (30 minutes), Lalkuan-Howrah Express (2 hours), Anand Vihar-Malda Town Weekly (1 hour), Delhi-Pratapgarh Padmavat Express (2 hours), and Lucknow-Varanasi Intercity (40 minutes). The station superintendent, Praveen Singh, confirmed the three-hour delay of the Prayagraj Sangam Special Train on Sunday.

Passengers ne kaha ki agar train samay se aati to woh 1 pm se 1:30 pm ke beech Prayagraj pahunch jaate, Ganga bath kar lete, aur shaam ko 4:40 pm wali Lucknow-bound train se vapas aa jaate. Lekin, train ki der se chalne ne unke plans ko bigaad diya. Gauriganj se chalne wali aur trains bhi der se chali, jaise Varanasi-Dehradun Janta Express (30 minutes), Howrah-Amritsar Punjab Mail (30 minutes), Lalkuan-Howrah Express (2 hours), Anand Vihar-Malda Town Weekly (1 hour), Delhi-Pratapgarh Padmavat Express (2 hours), aur Lucknow-Varanasi Intercity (40 minutes).
