This will enable the operation of MEMU and freight trains between Bengaluru and Kolar. Indian Railways aims to achieve 100% electrification of its broad gauge network by 2023-2024, with 93% already completed. The advantages of electrification include lower operating costs, increased hauling capacity, reduced reliance on imported oil, and a decrease in carbon emissions.

jismein zyadatar Karnataka mein hai. Chintamani ke traction substation pe zyadatar kaam complete ho chuka hai, aur December ke aakhri tak yeh poora chalne lagega. Isse Bengaluru aur Kolar ke beech MEMU aur freight trains chalna shuru ho jaayega. Indian Railways ka target 2023-2024 tak apna broad gauge network ka 100% electrification karne ka hai, aur 93% kaam already complete ho chuka hai. Electrification ke fayde yeh hain ki operating cost kam aati hai, hauling capacity badhti hai, imported oil pe dependancy kam hoti hai, aur carbon emission kam hoti hai.
