The extended platform, now 10.5 meters wide, was intended to reduce crowding and facilitate faster dispersal of commuters during peak hours. However, the lack of roofing is hindering its effectiveness, particularly during summer. CR officials, including General Manager RK Yadav, will inspect the station on January 28th, reviewing the completed tiling and flooring work. They will also inspect upgraded waiting rooms and other works at the station.

December mein Dadar station ke platforms ke number change kiye gaye the, aur platform 9 ko platform 8 mein merge kar diya gaya tha. Ab 10.5 meters chauda hone wala yeh platform crowding ko kam karne aur rush hour mein commuters ko jaldi disperse karne ke liye bana tha. Lekin, roof na hone ki wajah se, iska effectiveness kam ho raha hai, khaas kar summer mein. CR ke officials, General Manager RK Yadav ke saath, 28 January ko station ka inspection karenge, jismein complete tiling and flooring work ka review kiya jaayega. Unhe station ke upgraded waiting rooms aur other works ka bhi inspection karna hai.
