The Indian Railways has added 24 general coaches to 12 long-distance trains, including the Guwahati-Bikaner train, to accommodate the increasing passenger volume. They are also planning to add two general coaches to another 22 trains passing through Kanpur. These additions are specifically for trains passing through Kanpur Central and Govindpuri stations.
