This will particularly benefit people traveling long distances to places like Mumbai, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Kolkata, and Bangalore. The increase in general coaches is aimed at making it easier for workers and other ordinary people to travel, especially during the summer holidays and festive seasons when it becomes difficult to get confirmed tickets. The Railway Board will be adding two general coaches to all long-distance trains from November onwards. For example, the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express currently has four general coaches, and this will be increased to six. Additionally, the minimum fare for local trains, which was increased to ₹30 during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been reduced back to ₹10, providing relief to commuters.

Long distance trains mein general bogies badhaane se mazdoor logon ko bhi suvidha hogi, khaskar summer vacations aur festivals mein jab confirm tickets milna mushkil hota hai. November se sabhi trains mein 2-2 general bogies badhayi jaayengi. Bihar Sampark Kranti Express mein 4 general bogies hain, yeh badhkar 6 ho jayengi. Local trains ka minimum fare, jo COVID ke time ₹30 kar diya gaya tha, ab ₹10 kar diya gaya hai, isse passengers ko bahut relief milegi.
