argument, the passengers assaulted the constable and one of them stabbed him. One of the assailants jumped from the moving train to escape the crowd and was hit by the Dehradun Express on the down line. He died on the spot. The injured constable was taken to Saifai hospital for treatment. The police are investigating the matter and trying to identify the deceased.
