the Himsagar Express, passing through the area, felt a jolt near track pillar number 802/29 and informed the railway control room. Railway authorities immediately began repair work. They laid gravel on the track and constructed a drainage channel using a bulldozer. Trains were allowed to pass through the area at reduced speeds. The damaged section of the drainage channel has been covered with tarpaulin to prevent further water leakage. Construction of a new drainage channel is also underway. This incident comes after a similar event in 2013, when floodwaters from the Macchna river reached the track near the railway bridge, washing away the track gravel. This led to the construction of a drainage channel between the tracks in 2013. The railway administration is now carrying out extensive repairs in the area.
