trying to take the minors to Pune via Nagpur on the Tatanagar-Itwari Express, intending to send them to Sholapur and other cities for work. RPF Inspector Rakesh Mohan and Flying Squad ASI Balbir Prasad, after questioning the accused, handed him over to the RPF Station In-charge Rampyare Ram and registered a case under the Human Trafficking Act. Investigations revealed that Alam was enticing the minors with promises of high wages. He initially tried to deceive the RPF by claiming they were his family members. GRPF Inspector Rampyare Ram is investigating the matter and has contacted authorities in Malda, West Bengal, to verify if Alam has previous criminal records.
