The 'Kavach' safety system, which will be implemented across the Prayagraj division by December, will further improve safety by monitoring railway engines, signals, and stations. The budget also includes plans to develop a dedicated locomotive shed for Vande Bharat trains in Kanpur and Prayagraj, along with facilities for repairing and maintaining Vande Bharat and MEMU trains. The development of an elevated railway track between Jarib Chauki and Mandhana will further improve connectivity and enhance the infrastructure of nearby stations, including the existing Anvarganj station and the planned station near CSJMU.
