providing passenger services by the end of this year. The UPMRC started metro operations on a 9 km stretch from IIT to Motijheel within the 24 km corridor two and a half years ago. Subsequently, construction commenced on the remaining portion. Recently, initial trials (testing) were conducted on the up line of the underground section from Makrabatganj beyond Motijheel to Nayaganj underground station, passing through Chunni Ganj, Naveen Market, and Bada Chauraha.

gaye hain, taki isi saal ke antim maah mein yaatriyon ko yeh suvidha mil sake. UPMRC ne dhaai saal pehle 24 kilometer lamba corridor mein IIT se Motijheel tak nau kilometer lamba route mein metro sanchalana shuru kiya tha, aur iske baad baki hisse mein nirman shuru kiya tha. Isi corridor mein 15 din pehle Motijheel ke aage Makarabatganj se shuru hue underground section mein Chunni Ganj, Naveen Market, Bada Chauraha hote hue Nayaganj underground station tak up line mein shuruati trial (testing) ki thi.
