This year, plans are in place to run 20 to 22 pairs of trains during the same period. Currently, due to limited rack availability, it's not feasible to run special trains to every station, forcing passengers to rely on connecting trains, which can be inconvenient and time-consuming. Circuit trains aim to eliminate this issue. Gorakhpur headquarters has initiated a process to permanently include six special trains in the timetable, with fixed timings and dates. These include Gorakhpur to Bandra, Chhapra to Panvel, Gorakhpur to Delhi, Gorakhpur to Amritsar, and Chhapra to Anand Vihar. This system eliminates the need to seek individual railway approvals for each special train, enabling them to run according to predefined schedules.
