The South Central Railway has announced a significant development for travelers in Telangana. A new railway line will be constructed between Tandur Cement Cluster and Zahirabad, covering a distance of 75 km and costing ₹1,350 crores. Additionally, the railway line between Zahirabad via Vikarabad-Parli Vaijnath will be doubled. This 270 km double-line will increase train frequency and provide better connectivity between Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. The project will include the establishment of new stations in various villages along the Zahirabad-Vikarabad route.
