The survey, including land acquisition, is also being conducted for new lines from Chakulia to Odisha-Buramara, Badampahar to Keonjhar, and Guru Mahisani to Bangdiposi. The project is estimated to cost over 9 crore rupees. The bypass line will connect various branch lines in the Chakradharpur railway division, avoiding the need to transport freight trains from mining areas to the Howrah-Mumbai main line. The railway is also working on creating loop lines at Adityapur, Asansbani, Gamharia and Sini in the Chakradharpur division to increase freight capacity and improve passenger train operations. Additionally, link lines are being constructed in the Kharagpur and Adra divisions. Construction will also include the creation of road overbridges, underbridges, and tunnels in two districts of Odisha.
