Railway, police, and CRPF personnel arrived at the scene approximately 45 minutes after the incident. Seven buses and several ambulances were dispatched from Chakradharpur to assist the passengers. Passengers were transported to Chakradharpur Railway Station, with some being sent to Tatanagar Railway Station on three buses. The Singhbhum Bus Owners Association President and MP representative, Pradeep Agarwal, coordinated the bus arrangements, sending 6 buses to Barabambo and later dispatching 3 buses to Tatanagar. Additionally, a bus from Sacred Heart English School transported passengers to Chakradharpur Railway Station. A few passengers were also taken to Chaibasa Railway Station by a 'Chhota Hathi' (small truck).
