The Howrah-Mumbai Gitanjali Express was then allowed to pass through the third line at 9:24 pm at a speed of 10 km/h. The railway is working to restore operations on other trains on the third line at a speed of 10 km/h. The General Manager (GM) stated that the up and down lines will be declared fit soon, after which train operations will return to normal. A committee has been formed to investigate the accident. The Chief Safety Officer (CRS) inspected the accident site and collected information from railway officials.
