A train derailment on the Howrah-Mumbai mail line near Barabambo in the Chakradharpur Railway Division on Tuesday morning caused significant disruptions. derailment occurred at around 3:43 am on Tuesday, and it took over 42 hours to restore rail operations. The third line was declared fit for operation on Wednesday night, allowing the resumption of train services. The Up and Down lines are expected to be repaired soon, after which train operations will return to normal. The incident has led to an estimated loss of over ₹200 crore for the Chakradharpur Division and the South Eastern Railway Zone. The railway authorities have formed a committee to investigate the incident. The Chief Safety Officer (CRS) has also conducted an inspection of the accident site. The accident has disrupted the transportation of iron ore, coal, cement, and other minerals, resulting in significant financial losses for the railway. Passengers have also faced inconveniences with cancellations and refunds. The railway is working to restore the damaged infrastructure and expects to fully restore the train services soon.

par hua, aur rail operations ko normal karne mein 42 ghante se zyada lag gaye. Wednesday raat ko third line ko fit declare kar diya gaya, jisse train services shuru ho gaye. Up aur Down lines jaldi thik ho jaayenge, jiske baad train operations normal ho jaayenge. Is incident se Chakradharpur Division aur South Eastern Railway Zone ko ₹200 crore se zyada ka nuksan hua hai. Railway authorities ne incident ki jaanch ke liye ek committee banayi hai. Chief Safety Officer (CRS) ne bhi accident site ki jaanch ki hai. Accident se iron ore, coal, cement aur other minerals ki transportation mein disruption aaya hai, jisse railway ko kaafi financial loss hua hai. Passengers bhi cancellations aur refunds se pareshan hain. Railway damaged infrastructure ko thik karne par kaam kar raha hai aur jaldi hi train services ko fully restore karne ki ummid hai.
