need for increased train frequency, especially during peak hours. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) plans to introduce additional trains on the Purple and Green Lines, but not before June 2025. This delay is attributed to the Chinese supplier, CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Company Limited, failing to establish a manufacturing plant in India as required. To expedite production, the company has partnered with Titagarh Rail in Kolkata. The prototype driverless train for the Purple and Green Lines is scheduled to arrive in Bengaluru by September 2024, and BMRCL plans to conduct all necessary tests by February 2025. In 2025, 21 DTG trains will be added to the network, following the delivery of 14 driverless trains for the Yellow Line.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) ka plan hai ki Purple aur Green Lines pe additional trains add karenge, lekin June 2025 se pehle nahi. Production ko jaldi karne ke liye, company ne Kolkata ke Titagarh Rail ke saath partnership ki hai.
