Wednesday. The Mumbai-Howrah Mail has been cancelled. Several other trains, including the Shalimar-Mumbai Express, Santragachi-Nanded Express, Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express, Tatanagar-Bilaspur Express, and various special trains originating from Tatanagar, have been cancelled. To minimize disruption, 28 trains passing through Tatanagar will be rerouted through alternative routes like Bhadrak, Purulia, Gomoh, and Purulia. The Durg-Ara South Bihar Express will be run to Jharsuguda in the north and up to Tatanagar in the south. The railway authorities are aiming to resume operations on the affected route by Wednesday night.
