more... was built in 1996 and was the first terminal from which flights operated, modeled after Charbagh Station. The private company managing the airport's operations was previously housed here and has been shifted to Terminal-2. Until March, it was the domestic terminal as the new Terminal-3 for domestic and international flights has become operational. According to airport administration, work on Phase-2 of Terminal-3 will begin soon. This will lead to improved passenger amenities, an increase in the number of gates on the airside, and seating arrangements for passengers. A shopping plaza will be built opposite Terminal-3, construction of which has already begun. This 4-5 storey plaza will allow passengers to shop, stay overnight, and will also include several restaurants. This will provide relief to those coming from nearby districts to pick up or drop off passengers.

Yaha abhi tak airport prabandhan sambhaal rahi private company ka daftar tha. Use khaali kar daftar Terminal-2 mein sthanaantart kar diya gaya hai. March tak yeh gharelu terminal tha, kyunki gharelu aur antarrashriya udano ke passengers ki aavajahi ke liye naya Terminal-3 chaloo ho chuka hai. Airport prashasan ke anusaar jaldi Terminal-3 ke Phase-2 ka kaam shuru ho jaayega. Iske baad passenger suvidhaon mein badhoteri hogi. Airside mein gate ki sankhya badh jaayegi. Passengers ke baithne ki bhi vyavastha hogi. T-3 ke paas banega shopping plaza. Terminal-3 ke saamne shopping plaza banega. Iski bhi shuruaat ho gayi hai. Chaar se panch manzila plaza mein passenger kharidari kar sakenge. Unke thaharne ki vyavastha bhi hogi. Yahi kai restaurant bhi honge. Aise mein nazdiki jilon se passengers ko lene ya chhodne aane waalon ko kaafi rahat milegi.
