CID Crime Branch DSP, apprehended Ansari based on a photograph provided. Ansari was allegedly involved in a Rs 40 lakh trading scam targeting a woman in Dhanbad. Investigations revealed that his account received around Rs 95 lakh from 20 states within 10 days, indicating a connection to a Thai cybercrime group. He confessed to receiving a commission for allowing the use of his bank account for the scam, claiming to have been recruited by a youth from Dhanbad who is currently in Thailand.
