that the Station Master, Jayaram Mardi, was on duty and received information about the collision. He immediately notified the relevant departments and recorded the incident in the station diary. Rescue operations were initiated, and two passengers were confirmed dead, while others were injured. The injured were taken to the Chakradharpur Railway Hospital, and the bodies were also sent to the same hospital. The Station Manager requested a proper investigation into the matter.
