the fire started. Witnesses reported seeing smoke coming from the train, which quickly escalated into a fire engulfing B6, B7, and M1 coaches. Firefighters took two hours to extinguish the blaze. The railway authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, acknowledging the potential severity of the incident. The DRM of Waltair Division, Saurabh Prasad, confirmed that the coaches were empty at the time of the fire and the train was scheduled to be taken to the depot for maintenance. After the fire was extinguished, the train (except for the damaged coaches) was sent to the depot. The burnt coaches will be removed after clearance from the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service. The Korba station master, SK Vishwas, stated that he received information about the incident from the media and that the train departed from Korba at 4:10 PM on Saturday and arrived in Visakhapatnam at 6:10 AM. The incident occurred upon arrival, with no passengers reported injured.

thi, tabhi aag lag gayi. Logon ne train se dhuaan nikalte dekha aur shor machaye. RPF mauke pe pahuncha, lekin usse pehle hi aag bhadak gayi aur B6, B7 aur M1 coach ko jala dala. Aag ko bujhane mein 2 ghante lage. Railway officials ne is aag ka karan pata karne ke liye jaanch ke aadesh diye hain. DRM of Waltair Division, Saurabh Prasad ne bataya ki aag lagne ke waqt coaches khali the aur train maintenance ke liye depot jaane wali thi. Aag bujhane ke baad, train (jalne wala coach chhod kar) depot ke liye chali gayi. Jalne wala coach Andhra Pradesh Fire Service ki permission ke baad hataaya jaayega. Korba station master, SK Vishwas ne bataya ki unhe is haadse ki jaankari media se mili hai aur train Saturday evening 4:10 pe Korba se chali thi aur Visakhapatnam subah 6:10 pe pahunchi. Yaani yeh haadsa train ke pahunchne par hi hua aur koi passenger zakhmi nahi hua.
