While the final location survey for the line has been finished by a Delhi-based firm, the DPR is still under preparation. The Rail Bikash Sangharsh Samiti (RBSS) has urged the government to prioritize this project, emphasizing its importance for the development of the region. Sardega-Jharsuguda line ki comparison mein Delhi tak ka shorter route provide karega, jo mainly coal transportation ke liye use hota hai. Delhi ki ek firm ne final location survey toh kar liya hai, lekin DPR abhi bhi prepare hone ki stage mein hai. Rail Bikash Sangharsh Samiti (RBSS) ne government se is project ko priority dene ke liye kaha hai, aur region ke development ke liye is line ki importance highlight ki hai. Lekin, DPR na hone ki wajah se, 2024 ke budget mein line ke liye koi allocation nahin kiya gaya hai.
