The solar plant at Dhanbad Railway Station has a capacity of 195.36 kW, the railway hospital 120.45 kW, and the DRM office building 220.44 kW. The 99 railway station buildings and 46 service buildings include Gomo, Chichanki, Parasnath, Phusro, Gomia, Gurpa, Gajhandi, Piparadih, Patratu, Daltonganj, Chopan, Hazaribagh Road, Barkakana, Barwadih, Singrauli, and the Dhanbad RRI, RPSF, and Running Room building. This project will save electricity and revenue after completion. Currently, the Dhanbad Railway Division relies on DVC and JBVNl for electricity supply to railway stations, service buildings, and colonies. This project will reduce reliance on these institutions. The average monthly electricity consumption is 2250630 KVA, for which ₹1,08,48,692 is paid.
