In 2023, vacancies in the C grade across various departments were filled via GDCE. There is a reported shortage of staff in the Signal and Telecom department (2986 employees vs. 4200 required), impacting the formation of night failure gangs. The zone also faces shortages in Train Duty Engineering, Running, and Operations staff.

mein bhi GDCE ke through kai departments mein C grade ki khali posts bhari gayi thi. Signal and Telecom department mein 4200 employees ki jaroorat hai lekin sirf 2986 employees hain. Is wajah se night failure gang nahin ban pa raha hai. Train Duty Engineering, Running, and Operations staff bhi zone mein kam hai.
