The system automatically controls the train's brakes if the driver fails to do so, preventing accidents caused by human error. The Railway Ministry has issued a detailed explanation of the Kavach system, and the Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, has emphasized the implementation of Kavach on the Delhi-Howrah route to prevent human error-related train accidents. The railway is preparing to equip 9,000 km of track and 10,000 engines with Kavach within three years. To ensure the system's functionality even in mountainous areas, stations are being surveyed using drones. Three companies have been entrusted with the project.

India route pe bahut saare lines pe Kavach laga diya gaya hai. Kavach ki facility hone pe agar driver kahi speed control karne ya brake lagaane mein der bhi kar de toh Kavach ki brake interface unit train ko control kar leti hai. Railway ne letter jaari karke Kavach system ki detailed information di hai. Idhar, Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnav ne bhi human error se hone wale train accidents pe rokatham ke liye Delhi-Howrah route pe Kavach laagu karne pe zor diya hai. Information ke anusar, railway teen saal mein nau hazaar km line aur das hazaar engine ko Kavach se lash karne ki taiyari mein hai. Isse stations ka drone se survey kara ja raha hai, taki pahadi area mein bhi Kavach kaam kar sake. Teen companies ko iska jimma saupa gaya hai.
