On Thursday, nine transgender individuals were apprehended by the Tata Nagar RPF post during a surprise inspection at the station and on trains. The railway zone has reportedly imposed a ban on transgender individuals entering stations due to these complaints, however, they are still found boarding trains from smaller stations and demanding money from passengers. During the surprise inspection, the RPF also apprehended other individuals for violating railway regulations.
