Villagers informed his family, who took the body and cremated it at Adalpura Ghat without contacting the police. Mahanguram was the eldest of three brothers. The Khajuri police station in charge, Pawan Kumar Yadav, confirmed receiving information about the incident from others, but the family had already left the scene with the body.

Gharwale incident place pe pahunche aur body le gaye. Police ko bataye bina unka Adalpura Ghat pe cremation kar diya. Mahanguram teen bhaiyon mein sabse bada tha.
