Western Railway officials after receiving approval from the Railway Board. Eight of these trains, including the 19413 Ahmedabad-Kolkata Express, the 11050 Kolhapur-Ahmedabad Express, and the 22138 Prerna Express, will be shifted in the first phase. These trains will now operate under the Rajkot division and will bypass Ahmedabad Junction with only a 5-minute halt. This shift is expected to benefit passengers travelling from Surat to Rajkot, as they will have an additional train option to Rajkot.
