Minister Kesarkar assured that the terminus would be named after Madhu Dandavate after a Cabinet meeting decision, and that road construction and a meeting to discuss various issues were underway. He also said that a water filling scheme for the trains was being planned, which would also benefit the nearby villages of Malshegaon, Kumbharli and Vete. He confirmed that the proposal for a railway hotel was also approved. Ex-MLA Teli reiterated the need for continuous follow-up to bring these demands to fruition and stated his support for a possible rail roko agitation if the railway authorities did not respond positively. The organization's president Sandeep Nimbalkar urged citizens to identify and hold accountable those who were hindering the completion of the terminus construction, which is already 50% complete.
