The plant is expected to save 86.8 lakh liters of water annually, reduce manual labor costs, and increase efficiency by reducing cleaning time to 8-10 minutes per rack (24 coaches). Similar plants have already been installed in Bhagalpur, Tikiapara, Asansol, Howrah, and Barahat stations. The project is expected to be operational by September 2024.
