The Railway Board Chair also addressed concerns about security by stating that the railway police, GRP, and other security agencies will conduct constant patrolling and all engines will be equipped with AI-powered CCTV cameras. Addressing concerns about transportation of pilgrims, the Railway Board Chair said a plan is being implemented in conjunction with the district administration to ensure pilgrims' access to the main festival areas. Railway officials also emphasized a coordinated effort among different railway zones to manage operations efficiently, with the North Central Railway acting as the nodal agency for the Maha Kumbh 2025.
