The work is being done in stages, with sections like Prayagraj Junction to Phaphamau and Janghai already under construction. Additionally, the railway line between Prayagraj and Varanasi via Rambag is nearing completion, with 120 crore rupees allocated for this phase. The RVNL is currently working on doubling the line between Prayagraj Junction and Jhunsi.

route aur Rambag route dono pe, Varanasi jaane waale route ka double kiya ja raha hai. Isse Prayagraj se Varanasi tak train ki speed badhegi. Prayagraj Junction se Phaphamau aur Janghai ke raste double karne ka kaam chal raha hai. Uttar Railway ke officers ka kehna hai ki yeh kaam Maha Kumbh se pehle ho jaayega. Is rail khand ke liye Pink Book mein 250 crore rupees ka budget release kiya gaya hai. Yeh kaam November tak complete ho jaayega. Is route pe electrification ka kaam bhi tez raftaar se ho raha hai. Varanasi Prayagraj via Rambag route pe bhi kaam ab almost complete ho chuka hai. Is baar iske liye 120 crore rupees release kiye gaye hain. Ab RVNL Prayagraj Junction se Jhunsi ke beech ka double kar raha hai.
