machines are currently non-functional at Rajendra Nagar Terminal and Patna Junction. While the machines were functional from 2019 to 2022, they have been out of order since July 1, 2022, when single-use plastic was banned at stations. Despite the presence of these unusable machines, a significant amount of plastic bottles continue to be generated at the stations, with daily collection reaching 1-2 quintals at Patna Junction.
