However, four unions are actively operating: the South Eastern Railwaymen's Congress, the South Eastern Railwaymen's Union, the South Eastern Railwaymen's Trinamool Congress, and the Independent Railway Bahujan Union. All organizations are strengthening their branches and mobilizing railway employees to join their respective unions.
