16.725 km lambi line pe freight aur passenger trains chalane ki permission de di hai. Yeh section bade Bhairabi-Sairang project ka hissa hai, jo ki poora hone wala hai. Naya railway line Mizoram ke logon ko behtar connectivity dega, is area mein small-scale industries ko badhawega aur state mein tourism ko boost karega.
