Secretary Veerzhan Chaudhary outlined the problems faced by loco running staff and the administration's policies. Yadav stated that loco pilots were being pressured to work for extended durations. Jhunu Kumar, a member of the central working committee, said that the High Court and the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) had deemed their demands justified. The association resolved to stage protests at all divisional offices on September 24th and at all general manager's offices on October 18th. A memorandum was also sent to the Railway Minister through the General Manager. Among those present were Divisional Minister Pinaki Nandan, Neeraj Kumar, Ankit Kumar, Jayanath Rai, Jitendra Kumar, and Onkar Nath.
