After a Supreme Court order, the DRM decided to allocate the shop through a tender. The case went to the High Court in 2018. A single bench instructed the DRM to take a decision within three months. The DRM, despite the petitioner's application, issued a tender for the shop again. The petitioner then filed a petition in the division bench. During the previous hearing, the division bench expressed displeasure at the DRM's failure to file a response. After multiple chances, the DRM was summoned by the court. The Senior DCM and other officials appeared in court during the previous hearing and presented documents related to the case.
