a tip-off about the smuggling of Chinese garlic, which is cheaper than local garlic. The garlic was booked by Raj Kishore Rai of Bhawanipore Adampur in East Champaran. The seized garlic is valued at around Rs 1.25 lakh. Customs officials are now investigating the source of the garlic, which is believed to be smuggled from China via Nepal.
