Their request for uniforms during the COVID-19 pandemic was denied, with the administration stating that porters would now receive an allowance instead. They also face issues with medical access, as their previous red cards are no longer accepted, and a digital card is required. The porters are demanding facilities like drinking water, electricity, fans, toilets, trolleys, and rest rooms with fans and toilets. Despite their consistent contributions, they are forced to work without these basic amenities. The union had provided them with support during the COVID-19 pandemic, including financial assistance, rations, clothes, and safety kits. They hope the union will continue to advocate for their needs. The issue will be raised with the railway manager.

tha, lekin uske baad koi bhi uniform nahin diya gaya. COVID-19 pandemic ke dauran uniform ke liye unki maang ko yeh keh kar reject kar diya gaya ki ab unhe allowance milega. Unhe medical access mein bhi dikkat aa rahi hai, kyunki pehle wala red card ab valid nahin hai aur digital card ki zarurat hai. Kuliyon ki maang hai ki unhe peeyejal, bijli, pankhe, shauchalay, trolleys, aur rest room mein pankhe aur shauchalay jaisi suvidhaayen milni chahiye. Iske bawajood ki woh apna kaam sahi se kar rahe hain, unhe yeh basic suvidhaayen nahin mil rahi hain. Union ne COVID-19 pandemic ke dauran unhe financial assistance, ration, kapde aur safety kit jaisi suvidhaayen di thi. Unhe ummeed hai ki union unki suvidhaayen ke liye railway administration ke saath baat karegi. Is issue ko railway manager ke saamne uthaya jaayega.
