employment opportunities for locals. The depot will service trains running on the Giridih-Koderma-Hazaribagh Town-Barkakana route, currently requiring repairs to be sent to Dhanbad or Gaya. The depot will have four additional tracks and will include facilities for coach lifting, washing, servicing, and a care & wagon department. The main event will take place at Koderma station in the Dhanbad rail division, where various dignitaries will flag off the Vande Bharat trains.
