Constitution Assembly ne 14 September, 1949 ko Hindi ko Devanagari script mein official language banaya tha, bahut discussion ke baad. Is din ki yaad mein, Indian government ne decide kiya ki 14 September ko har saal Hindi Day celebrate karenge, taaki sabhi central government offices mein Hindi ka use aur promotion ho.
