underground route is complete, leading to the initiation of track construction for Kanpur Central Station. This commenced after track laying and welding, covering a distance of 1,250 meters. The track laying equipment was lowered into the tunnel via a cut-out near the Central Station to facilitate the process. The Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Sushil Kumar, confirmed the commencement of track slab laying on the up-line tunnel between Nayaganj and Kanpur Central Station on Saturday.

Chunni Ganj-Nayaganj bhoomiगत route par up-line mein track nirmaan ka kaam pura hone ke baad ab Central Station ke liye track nirmaan ka kaam shuru ho gaya hai. Shanivar ko patariyan bhichane, patariyon ki welding ke baad 1,250 meter track ki dhaali shuru hui. Bhoomiगत surang mein track nirmaan ke liye Metro ke Central Station ke pass cut out se patariyon aur unki welding karne ke liye plant ko niche utara gaya tha. Iske baad slab ki dhaali shuru ho gayi hai.
